Updated forum to a newer one.
Host setting set to php 7.0 because this phpbb version actually does support it.

It did take a bit longer then expected. And it "only" took 5 heart attacks this time.
New version, and ofcourse the old styles don't work anymore.

Yes, having to delete 75% of the root maps on the ftp does make me a bit nervous.


Apparently the updating goes a bit less primitive from this version on.

Old Pro Silver style: index.php?style=1
New Black Silver style: index.php?style=14
New Green Split style: index.php?style=19

I think the option to select a style is gone from the profile settings, like last time

Adjusted it for very short while, but that was re-enabled 1 hour ago or so.
The "black silver split" style should be default now.

More styles can be added, not sure what to add yet. Official forum styles are here:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styles-2/3.2

So if someone does see a style there he or she likes, post and i can add it.

Had to do it the first few times... Not anymore.

I also had that problem for a while, seems ok now though.

Now if you could also fix the mail function so the email notifications would finally work again, that would be awesome!

Hmm, today it keeps logging me out and forcing another log in each time I visit.

But at least mail seemed to be working, thanks

Edit: Pretty sure the cookie settings are messed up. My session ID is appended to the URL which should not happen if cookies were working correctly.

Purged sessions, so that the cookie info gets reset.

Still not working for me, keep having to log in.

The phpbb update did overwrite some settings in the .htaccess file needed for https. Therefore it did conflict with the secure cookie settings.
It's adjusted and should be fixed now. Next "remember me" check will be remembered!
